Terms of use
These terms explain how SellCasher works. Template: have it reviewed by a UAE lawyer before launch.
1. What SellCasher is
SellCasher is an online venue that connects people selling used electronics (“Sellers”) with verified UAE businesses that buy them (“Buyers”). SellCasher is not a party to any sale, does not take ownership of items, and does not hold or transfer payment for goods.
2. Accounts
- You must give accurate information and keep your password secure.
- Buyers must be registered businesses with a valid UAE trade licence. We may verify, approve, reject or suspend any account.
- You're responsible for activity on your account.
3. Listings
- Sellers must own the items they list and describe their condition honestly, including defects.
- Stolen goods, counterfeit items, devices locked to another person's account, and anything illegal to sell in the UAE are prohibited.
- We may remove any listing at our discretion.
4. Offers and deals
- An offer is a Buyer's good-faith proposal to buy at the stated AED amount. When a Seller accepts, both parties are expected to complete the deal as agreed.
- Buyer and Seller arrange pickup and payment directly. Inspect items at collection.
- Repeatedly backing out of accepted deals may lead to suspension.
5. Credits
- Buyers purchase credits by bank transfer. Each new bid uses the number of credits shown for its category.
- Credits are a platform fee for submitting an offer. They are not refunded when you withdraw an offer or another offer is chosen, but they are refunded if the seller withdraws the listing. Credits have no cash value.
- Unused credits may be refunded at our discretion if we close your account without cause.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, SellCasher is not liable for the condition, legality or delivery of items, or for any dispute between Buyers and Sellers. We'll help where we can. Contact support.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai.
